We walk along a cobbled road
Beneath a gray-blue sky,
Inhale the air of solitude,
And often wonder why

Along the way, we stop to rest
(Perhaps a bit too long)
And sometimes, when we run ahead,
We choose a path that’s wrong

We can’t predict the twists and turns
Or how our journey ends,
But this we know, beyond all things,
We travel it with friends
